Translation Memories |
Use this sheet to configure translation memories.
Click Add to add a new translation memory. A list of available types will show. Select a translation memory type from the list.
Type | Description |

Add a new database translation memory | A database that contains translation memory data in a Soluling translation memory structure. Initially, Soluling contains one empty local translation memory called Local. New Translation Memory dialog appears. Select the translation memory database and click OK. |
Add Microsoft Terminology Service translation memory | Microsoft Terminology Service is a free cloud-based read-only translation memory. |
Add a MyMemory translation memory | MyMemory is a free cloud-based read-only translation memory. |
Add a translation file | Adds a TMX, text, or Excel file to the shadow translation memory. |
Import file into "<name>" translation memory | Imports translation from a file or a database to the default translation memory (<name>). Default translation memory is the first database translation memory in the list. |
Depending on your Soluling license, one or more options may not be visible.
Click Edit to edit the selected translation memory. Translation memory dialog appears. You can use it to import new data into the translation memory or edit existing translations.
Click Remove the remove the selected translation memory.
Click Import to import translation memory configurations from an exported file. Click Export to export current configurations into a file.
Click Move Up to move the selected item one step up. Click Move Down to move the selected item one step down. Ctrl+Up is a shortcut for Move Up. Ctrl+Down is a shortcut for Move Down. You can also drag and drop to reorder an item.
Click Options to configure how translation memories are used.
