Amazon Translate

Use this dialog to configure Amazon Translate.

Account

Amazon Translate is a paid service, but if you are a new AWS user, you can use it for free for 12 months. The free tier allows you up to 2 000 000 characters per month. If you use more, you have to pay. The Secret key specifies the secret key of your user id. Type your access key id into the Access key id filed. Click the Test account button to perform a test that makes sure that your account works correctly.

If you don't have an existing account or want to make a new account check, I don't have an account or create a new one checkbox. When checked, the dialog will show an extra button:

1. Click the Sign Up Now button to start your 12 months free tier access.
2. Create a AWS IAM user. Make sure to add TranslateFullAccess policy to your IAM user or group.
3. Create the acccess key. In Access key best practices & alternatives choose Other.
4. Write down or copy the Access key ID and Secret access key.
5. Enter or paste the keys to the corresponding edit fields in this dialog.

In the Region field, you can specify the AWS region you want to use.
